Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna

I had a delightful stay at the Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna, and can highly recommend the hotel for both luxury and a relaxing unique experience. A place that has something wonderful for everyone. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The staff were particularly helpful in meeting my needs and ensuring a great stay. I would especially like to thank Martin Gan. He provided an excellent service, He was very helpful and diligent and is a true credit to the Hotel.

The hotel as very nice and peaceful with beautiful surroundings and amazing amenities. During the three nights stay , we were looked after by our dedicated concierge, Mr Sitting, who recommended to us many beautiful places to visit and delicious restaurants to eat in ; even helped us to find a place to rent a scooter , yaaaay ! I would recommend this hotel for anyone wishing to stay in Xishuangbanna

The location of the resort is is 20mins drive from the main central tourist area. If you’re seeking an isolated resort hotel, this is a good choice. The facility at the hotel resort is good, the staff are friendly and hospitable. The landscape are well kept and villa room has high ceiling with stupendous bathroom / shower. Great resort for a luxurious quiet family get away.

We had a lovely stay at our own little villa with private pool! Got a free upgrade to a larger room thanks to our very helpful customer manager Angela. Service was very good, we will definitely come back again :)

The room is big and beautiful. Even the smallest rooms have private pools. The hotel brought us a large plate of fruit upon arrival which was nice to us. The staff were super helpful and courteous. We checked out of the hotel but our flight was cancelled. We had to re-check in. After checking in, I realized that I had accidentally thrown the medicine in the trash. I talked to Li Tianjiao, the front desk manager, and she told me not to be nervous, she would let the housekeeper find my medicine in the hotel rubbish. I want to do it myself. I didn't want to disturb the housekeeper, but the hotel insisted that I rest in the room and let the housekeeper do the dirty work. Wei Qiongzhen room service found my medicine and returned it to me right away. I am grateful that this medicine is not an ordinary prescription. Very expensive. If this were to happen in the US, there would be no way the hotel would have gone through so much trouble to help me. I stay here every time I visit. All the Wanda hotels I stayed in were great!

The hotel is truly delightful, the customer service is perfect. The grounds are big but walkable and you also have cars to drive you to your room. The breakfast was great, the rest of the food I found a little expensive for what it was, but it was fine. The private pool and bathtub are perfect, although by day 3 nobody had cleaned the pool and a lizard was feeding off the dead bugs in the pool as I was leaving. There was small things with the room, like the plug in the bath wasnt easily removed and the light on the magnifiying mirror not working, but these small things didnt effect my overall wonderful stay. Oh, and the bed and pillows were perfect.

Great hotel for a 4 days escape with family. The private pool is fantastic and the huge public pool is even better. Location is okay, account 25 mins driving to get to downtown and night market. Terrace room is definitely the best choice for many reasons so make sure to get one. Service and staff have room for improvement. Food at the restaurants is quite good but considering the price it could be better.

I was afraid to book the Wanda Vista because of the many reviews I read about filth and non-English speaking staff. When we arrived it's true there weren't that many English speaking staff but there were a few, and quickly one of them gave us his WeChat, it helped a lot to communicate, he was really kind and helpful. So thank you very much 赵学杰, you made our stay easier and better. About the room, the interior is quite clean, the terrace not so much, we had to ask them to clean the bed outside, they cleaned it and changed the sheet, but I didn't understand why they hadn't done this before… Most of the service is quite nice, maybe the cleaning service can be better, the following days they changed the towels when we didn't want it, and when we needed that it be changed and expressly requested that be changed, nothing has been done. The trash bin was not automatically emptied.
For hotels of this standard, we expect the room to be cleaned twice a day. 
The breakfast is quite good and again the staff are really nice. 
On the whole, we had a good stay, we enjoyed a lot the private and the shared swimming pools.
